The best thing about being a mom is the feeling of being part of something greater than yourself; the hardest part is staving off the fear of losing those you love.

Is there anything you'd do differently if you were a new mom again?

I would NOT have gone straight from a full-time job to full-time mom. It's important for new moms to have quality time with adults.

What is the best parenting advice you received from family or friends?

ALWAYS accept babysitting offers from people you trust. They know that at the end of the evening they will give your child back to you... so they will truly enjoy being with your child while you get a well-deserved break.

Our family plays board and card games.
