Meet Mt. Lebanon's Newest Mom
and view the images from this lacy, vintage and rustic newborn photo session.

When was your baby born?

January 9, 2017

What was your baby's height and weight at birth?

21 inches, 9 lbs 9 oz

Was your baby early, late or on time?

Late

What area of Pittsburgh do you call home?

Mt. Lebanon

What was your first thought when you found out you were pregnant?

Shock and excitement - we had been trying for a while!

How did you tell the father you were expecting?

I couldn't believe the results, so I ran into our bedroom and asked him, do you see two lines??

How did you style the nursery?

My sister was a huge help. She made lots of amazing decorations for my shower that I was able to take home and incorporate into the nursery. I also spent a lot of time in Hobby Lobby!

How do you chose your baby's name?

It was my great-grandmother's name and we fell in love with it while looking through my mother's family tree.

What are you looking forward to doing with your baby?

Anything and everything other than feeding her and changing her diaper!

Write 3 adjectives that describe your baby.

Beautiful, alert, feisty.

Share a piece of advice to an expecting mom.

Appreciate every minute of sleep that you get now, and don't panic - the first two weeks are the hardest but it gets better and it's so worth it.

What has been the biggest struggle since coming home from the hospital?

Coping with the lack of sleep and the frequency of the feedings. But as mentioned in my advice, it definitely gets better.

Why is newborn photography important to you?

Every minute that passes makes me a little sad that I'll never experience it again - she'll never be this small again, I'll never see the first smile again, etc. Having photos from when she first arrived makes me remember this amazingly happy time and preserves it forever. I want to remember the first time that I held her and every other first that we experience with her.

Where did you deliver?

St. Clair Hospital in Mt. Lebanon

Who is your OB/GYN?

Zubritzky & Christy & Associates

If any of your personal items were used during the portrait session, where were they from? Target, Pottery Barn, Etsy, etc.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure. A friend gave us the pink ruffle shorts for my baby shower but I'm not sure where they came from.
