I love photographing newborn babies! Every baby that has come into the studio has been wonderful and adorable. The props, backgrounds, poses all come together to accentuate their unique beauty and personality. After each newborn session I spend hours in front of the iMac running Photoshop and listening to loud music, often Hillsong, on my beats headphones. I typically edit a portrait using a 10 step process. I brighten and smooth skin, reduce red in skin, highlight eyes and lashes, adjust the contrast darken and blur edges and apply a subtle film-like filter.
